Slam Dunk Festival announces 2027 lineup and locations

Slam Dunk Festival has announced its first wave of artists for the 2027 edition. The UK’s largest independent rock festival will expand its format by hosting events in two locations: Leeds Temple Newsam on Saturday, May 29, followed by a closing event at Hatfield Park on Sunday, May 30.

The initial lineup features headliners Bowling For Soup, Simple Plan, and Killswitch Engage. The announcement coincides with significant milestones for several performers, including the 25th anniversaries of Bowling For Soup’s ‘Drunk Enough To Dance’ and Simple Plan’s ‘No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls’.

Other confirmed artists include Reel Big Fish, performing a UK-exclusive reunion show, Less Than Jake, The Interrupters, Beartooth, Sleeping With Sirens, and The Used. Pre-sale tickets are scheduled to become available via the festival app on Friday, October 2, with general sales beginning on Monday, October 5.
