Slapton bus service extended indefinitely following road damage
The 93T bus service, which connects Slapton to Dartmouth, has been extended indefinitely. Originally launched in June as a summer-only service, the route was established to maintain connectivity following the destruction of the A379 due to major storm damage.
Operated by Country Bus and Tally Ho, the service provides four daily trips in each direction from Monday to Saturday. The route links Slapton village with Dartmouth, including stops at Strete, Blackpool Sands, and Stoke Fleming. The extension follows requests from local residents and businesses who sought to maintain a direct public transport link while the A379 remains impassable.
