Slask Wroclaw coach Ante Simundza faces uncertain future

Slask Wroclaw manager Ante Simundza is facing significant pressure following a period of poor results in the Polish Ekstraklasa. The club has lost five consecutive league matches and sits in 17th place, having secured only one league victory in 11 matches.

Club sporting director Rafał Grodzicki addressed the situation, noting that while Simundza is experiencing a major crisis and visible nervousness, the club intends to support him. Grodzicki stated that the upcoming match against Wieczysta Krakow is a critical turning point for the team to begin a new path toward their seasonal goals.

Simundza, who has been with the club since December 2024, previously led the team through a relegation and a subsequent return to the top flight. Although his contract runs until the end of the 2027/28 season, his position remains under scrutiny due to the team's struggle to avoid the bottom of the table.
