Slaughter to Prevail releases ‘Koschei’ video from ‘Grizzly’ album
Russian metal band Slaughter to Prevail has issued an official video for the track “Koschei,” taken from their recent album Grizzly, which was released last year on Sumerian Records. Frontman Alex Terrible explains that the song draws on the Slavic myth of Koschei the Immortal, using it as a metaphor for the persistence of the soul beyond the mortal body.
The video, directed by Ave Warriors Studio, precedes the band’s European festival circuit, which includes headline performances at Bloodstock Open Air in England and shows in Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Germany, Spain and Belgium. The release is intended to keep the Grizzly era active as the group tours ahead of the festival season.
