Slavi Trifonov apologizes to Lili Ivanova

Slavi Trifonov has reportedly apologized to Bulgarian singer Lili Ivanova via telephone for the mockery and ironic comments directed at her during his long-running television show. The apology follows several months of attempts by Trifonov to reconcile with the singer.

According to reports, Trifonov expressed regret for the disappointment and bitterness caused by his team’s past actions, stating, “It was truly stupid and I am terribly sorry that I and my team have brought you disappointment and bitterness. I have always felt reverence for your talent and professionalism.”

The reconciliation was facilitated by businessman Blago Solov, a mutual acquaintance. Prior to the phone call, Trifonov had sent Ivanova large bouquets of white roses and a handwritten letter, notably for her birthday in April and following her concerts in Paris and at the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Ivanova has reportedly accepted the apology.
