Slavi Trifonov criticizes Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev

Slavi Trifonov, leader of the 'There Is Such a People' party, has issued a sharp critique of Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev in an open letter. Trifonov accused the minister of acting like an autocrat and failing to fulfill specific obligations.

A primary point of contention is the 'Petrohan' case. Trifonov noted that Demerdzhiev had promised to clarify the matter by the end of August, yet no information has been released as of the second week of September. Trifonov questioned the minister's transparency, asking, “Why are you lying? Whom are you covering up?”

Additionally, Trifonov addressed the arrest of influencer Stoyan Kolev in Spain, criticizing the minister's handling of the situation and his failure to identify the individual involved.
