Slaviša Jokanović appointed as FC Basel head coach

FC Basel has officially appointed Slaviša Jokanović as its new head coach. The Serbian manager, who signed a contract valid until the end of the season, is tasked with stabilizing the team and returning the club to the top of the standings following results that fell below expectations.

Jokanović will be supported by a familiar coaching staff, including assistants Jovan Damjanović and Goran Vuković, and physical trainer Aleksandar Janković. The club cited Jokanović’s experience in managing mid-season transitions and his history of achieving promotion to the Premier League with Watford and Fulham as key factors in his selection.
