Tomáš Chorý seeks immediate departure from SK Slavia Praha
Tomáš Chorý, a striker for SK Slavia Praha, has requested the immediate termination of his contract following disciplinary action taken by the club. The decision follows an incident where Chorý was sent off for an unsporting gesture toward referee Jan Všetečka during a match against Hradec Králové.
Slavia Praha's management imposed a penalty consisting of a one-month salary fine and removal from the first-team squad until the end of the autumn season. The club also stated that Chorý would be permitted to seek a new club during the winter transfer window. Chorý, through his agency Nehoda Sport, expressed respect for the decision and stated that an immediate mutual termination would be the best solution for both parties.
The League Football Association (LFA) disciplinary commission also issued a six-match suspension. LFA chairman Jiří Matzner noted Chorý's unusual disciplinary record, citing four direct red cards within 14 months. While there has been speculation regarding a potential move to Viktoria Plzeň, reports suggest a transfer abroad, possibly to Saudi Arabia or the Polish Ekstraklasa, may be more likely.
