Slavia President Says Balov Transfer Funds Will Finance New Club Facilities

Slavia Sofia president Vençeslav Stef​anov told Sportal.bg that the entire fee from Kristiyan Balov’s move to a foreign club will be allocated to Slavia. The money will be paid in three instalments and used to build an additional training pitch at the club’s base, a project he said could have been started earlier using fines paid for fan misconduct. Stef​anov criticised supporters who sell alcohol and drugs outside the stadium, urging them to support the team instead.

He added that a retired fan from Vidin had donated a small personal contribution, highlighting the club’s reliance on both large transfer income and grassroots support.
