Slavia Sofia hosts Levski Sofia in postponed capital derby

Slavia Sofia is set to host Levski Sofia in a postponed match from the fifth round of the efbet Liga. The fixture, known as the oldest capital derby, will take place at the Alexander Shalamanov Stadium.

Levski Sofia enters the match with a perfect record, having secured six wins in six matches this season. Following their recent 3-1 victory against Botev Plovdiv, the team, led by Julio Velázquez, aims for a seventh consecutive win. The match was rescheduled to accommodate Levski's participation in the Champions League playoff phase.

Slavia Sofia, coached by Ratko Dostanić, currently holds two consecutive draws against Ludogorets and Septemvri. The team will look to replicate their success from December 2025, when they defeated Levski 2-0.
