The town of Slavičín will celebrate its 770th anniversary from August 28 to 30, 2026. The festivities commemorate the first written mentions of the town and its historical connection to Bishop Bruno of Schauenburg. The three-day program includes musical performances by various bands, a Slavi Expo featuring local companies, traditional parades, and a Holy Mass celebrated by Monsignor Jan Graubner.
Other regional events in the Zlín area include the FEDO brass orchestra and folklore festival in Zlín, a 90s retro-themed market, and Africa Days at Zoo Zlín, which features African specialties and products. Additionally, an open-air cinema in Zlín will screen Bohemian Rhapsody.
