Slavkov u Brna begins Koláčkovo náměstí reconstruction

Slavkov u Brna is set to begin the reconstruction of Koláčkovo náměstí, a major public space in the town. The project aims to modernize the area to better serve as a hub for cultural life and social gathering.

The first stage of work will focus on sidewalks and parking spaces on the western side of the square, specifically the section from Slovákova Street to Brněnská Street. Depending on the confirmation of high-voltage line relocation by EG. D, work on the eastern side of the square may also occur this year.

The reconstruction will necessitate significant traffic restrictions and changes to the traffic regime in surrounding streets, including U Synagogy, Úzká, Brněnská, Fügnerova, and Palackého náměstí. Local residents will receive direct information regarding access to properties and supply deliveries. The project is expected to take approximately two years to complete.
