Slavonski Brod to host international youth handball tournament

The international handball tournament ‘Ljeto u Brodu 2026’ is scheduled to take place from September 4 to September 6 in Slavonski Brod. The event is organized jointly by ŽRK Brod, RK Brod, and the Dejan Krtolica Handball Academy.

Approximately 1,400 young handball players born between 2009 and 2014 are expected to participate. The tournament features teams from five countries, including Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia. Matches will be held at multiple locations, including the Sports Hall Brod and courts in Vijušuta and Garčino.
