Slayyyter receives Courtney Love's praise for Hole cover

Pop artist Slayyyter has performed a cover of the Hole song ‘Violet’ for Triple J’s ‘Like a Version’ series. The rendition of the track from the 1994 album ‘Live Through This’ drew a positive response from Hole frontwoman Courtney Love, who praised the performance on Instagram.

In an interview with Triple J, Slayyyter expressed that the Hole album was highly impactful during her high school years and was one of the first songs she attempted to learn on guitar. She noted the emotional rawness of the music and how it helped her navigate teenage angst.

Slayyyter is currently touring North America following the release of her album ‘WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA’ and has teased the development of a forthcoming ‘inverse album’ that explores new life experiences through a different musical lens.
