SLB secures four integrated well construction contracts from Aramco
SLB has secured four integrated well construction contracts from Aramco to support oil and gas development across Saudi Arabia. The multi-year agreements involve managing end-to-end well construction services.
Under the terms of these contracts, SLB is expected to deliver more than 450 wells over a three-year period, with the possibility of extending the term for an additional two years. The company will utilize a technology-driven integrated operating model that combines digital drilling workflows with automated services in drilling, evaluation, fluids, cementing, and completion.
Steve Gassen, SLB Executive Vice President of Geographies, stated that the scale of these programs requires an integrated model to connect planning, execution, and digital workflows to establish new industry performance standards.
