SLB to restore offshore production for Brunei Shell Petroleum

SLB has secured a contract with Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) to support the restoration of production from shut-in wells across several offshore fields. The project represents the first time BSP will deploy an integrated production restoration solution.

The scope of the agreement includes subsurface assessment, candidate well selection, engineering, and offshore execution. SLB will utilize a coordinated execution model that integrates project management, intervention services, monitoring, measurement, and maritime logistics to optimize the recovery of mature offshore assets.

This program aligns with Well, Reservoir, and Facilities Management (WRM) methodologies, using coordinated surveillance and intervention planning to maintain safe and efficient operations. The initiative aims to maximize the value of existing offshore resources and support BSP’s long-term production objectives.
