SLC CGIL demands better accessibility at Avellino Logistics Center

The SLC CGIL union has issued a formal report regarding accessibility and safety concerns at the Avellino De Sanctis Logistics Center. The union is demanding improved conditions for workers with disabilities, specifically requesting the reservation of internal parking spaces for staff with mobility difficulties to reduce walking distances.

Additionally, the union raised concerns regarding safety protocols, noting that a vehicle parked near a security exit could obstruct emergency escape routes. They also reported that the restroom designated for persons with disabilities is frequently kept locked, with the key held only by the facility manager, and are calling for immediate verification and corrective measures.
