Sleep releases new album 'Hemispheres' and single 'The Morrisist

Legendary stoner‑metal band Sleep announced their forthcoming album, titled "Hemispheres" (referred to as "Hempispheres" in some releases), slated for digital release on 3 September 2026 and a physical release on 30 October 2026 through Jack White’s Third Man Records. The band also unveiled the second track, "The Morrisist," as a preview of the new record.

The album marks the first Sleep release without longtime guitarist Matt Pike. The current lineup features founder bassist/vocalist Al Cisneros, drummer Dale Crover (formerly of the Melvins and Redd Kross) and guitarist Bubba Dupree (of Void). Sleep will support the album with an extensive North American tour beginning in September, including a headlining slot at the Levitation Festival in Austin and dates across the West Coast, Midwest, Canada and the East Coast through November.
