The device uses a 60 GHz millimeter‑wave sensor to collect up to 200,000 data points per night, detecting micro‑movements to estimate sleep stages and wake users during lighter sleep phases. It combines gradual light ramping and bird‑song sounds to lessen sleep inertia, while offering a non‑intrusive alternative to wrist‑worn trackers.
