Sleman police seize 44,000 illegal pills and arrest three suspects

Police in Sleman, Yogyakarta, have dismantled three separate drug trafficking operations involving Trihexyphenidyl, commonly known as ‘pil sapi’. The operation resulted in the arrest of three suspects and the seizure of 44,492 pills.

One suspect, a 30-year-old laborer, was found in possession of 36,000 pills hidden in a chicken coop and a local reservoir area. Another suspect, aged 27, was apprehended with 452 pills. Authorities noted that the distribution network primarily targeted students and young adults using a cash-on-delivery system.
