Sleman Regency reports 123,779 households registered for social protection

In Sleman Regency, 123,779 households have registered for the Social Protection (Perlinsos) application as of September 1, 2026. This figure represents approximately 30.62% of the 404,292 households targeted for data collection in the region.

Data from the Sleman Social Affairs Office indicates that the majority of residents rely on agents to navigate the digital system. Specifically, 98,377 households (79.48%) utilized agent assistance, while 25,402 households (20.52%) registered independently. Currently, there are 2,940 registered agents in the system, with 1,884 of them actively assisting the public.

The use of agents highlights a reliance on human assistance during the transition to digital social services, particularly for residents facing technological barriers. The Sleman Population and Civil Registration Office reported that population administration data has not presented significant obstacles to the registration process.
