Sleman Regent Harda Kiswaya Highlights Community and Tax Education Initiatives

Sleman Regent Harda Kiswaya attended a Muhammadiyah religious gathering at the Museum Gunungapi Merapi in Pakem, emphasizing the role of mental and spiritual development as a moral foundation for the region. He said the event "strengthens character, shields against negative influences, and deepens community ties."

A day later, Kiswaya took part in the 61st anniversary celebration of the Indonesian Tax Consultants Association (IKPI) in Sleman, urging taxpayers to seek professional guidance. He noted that many residents lack tax knowledge and that consultants are essential for preventing revenue leakage. Kiswaya also highlighted Sleman's economic performance, citing a 6.5% growth that exceeded national targets, and called on IKPI members to maintain integrity and patience in their work.
