SLEP Elqui appoints six new school directors

Six new directors have officially assumed their roles in various schools and high schools within the Elqui Local Public Education Service (SLEP Elqui) territory. These appointments cover educational institutions in the communes of La Serena, Paihuano, and La Higuera.

The directors were selected through the Alta Dirección Pública (ADP) system, a process led by the Civil Service. Each appointed director will serve a five-year term. Pedro Esparza Olivares, Executive Director of SLEP Elqui, stated that these appointments represent a step toward administrative compliance and probity, as the service works to regularize leadership positions that previously lacked permanent, ADP-selected directors.
