Süleyman Mansur presents Palestinian art exhibition in Fatih

Palestinian artist Süleyman Mansur is presenting his exhibition, ‘Art of Occupation and Resistance’, as part of the Palestine Art Days organized by the Fatih Municipality in Istanbul. The event, held at Medrese Davutpaşa, runs from September 24 to October 3.

Mansur, born in Birzeit in 1947, has used his work since the 1970s to explore the connection between the Palestinian people and their land, as well as the experiences of occupation and displacement. The program includes panels, workshops, and various artistic performances, such as theater, cinema screenings, poetry, and music.

Fatih Mayor M. Ergün Turan emphasized the importance of conveying Palestinian memory to future generations through various art forms, including painting, cinema, poetry, and music.
