Slezskoostravský hrad to host family treasure hunt event

Slezskoostravský hrad is hosting the return of its “Strašení na hradě” (Haunting at the Castle) event on Saturday, August 29, 2026. After a five-year hiatus, the event will feature a treasure hunt designed for families and children.

Participants will navigate the castle to complete tasks and meet various characters, including a castle steward, a white lady, a devil, and a monk. Successful completion of these challenges will provide clues to locate a hidden treasure. The evening's activities also include a themed photo corner, face painting, creative workshops, and a fire show performed by the group Infinity at 10:00 PM and 11:00 PM.

The event is scheduled to run from 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Tickets are available online via the castle's website or at OSTRAVAINFO and Info Jih locations, though some will be available on-site.
