Slimane and Vitaa reportedly reunite for new musical project

French singers Slimane and Vitaa are reportedly back in the studio to work on a new musical project, potentially a follow-up to their successful VersuS collaboration. Sources indicate that Universal has provided significant financial backing to facilitate this reunion.

This professional comeback follows a difficult period for Slimane. In September 2025, he was convicted of moral harassment and received a 10,000 euro fine, including a suspended portion, along with a one-year ineligibility period. The legal issues stemmed from accusations made by a technician during his Cupidon Tour regarding aggravated sexual harassment via digital means.

Since the legal proceedings, Slimane has gradually returned to the public eye, appearing on The Voice and performing on stage this summer. The duo, who previously released the album VersuS and completed a 105-concert tour between 2018 and 2022, are now expected to resume their collaborative work.
