Slinky Dog Dash coaster closed for three days at Disney's Hollywood Studios

The Slinky Dog Dash roller coaster at Disney's Hollywood Studios has been closed for three consecutive days, beginning August 31, 2026. As of September 2, Disney has not provided a reason for the extended downtime or a timeline for when the attraction will reopen.

The closure follows several hours of intermittent downtime on August 28 and August 29. Because Slinky Dog Dash is a highly popular attraction with frequent wait times exceeding 100 minutes, its absence is expected to increase crowds and wait times for other nearby attractions, such as Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Toy Story Mania!, and Alien Swirling Saucers.

Guests who held Lightning Lane selections for the ride are reportedly being issued Lightning Lane Multi-Passes for use on other select attractions.
