Slipknot marks 25th anniversary of ‘Iowa’ album

The heavy metal band Slipknot is marking the 25th anniversary of their second studio album, ‘Iowa’, which was released on August 28, 2001. The album is noted for its extreme sound, moving away from the nu-metal elements of their debut toward a more death metal-influenced style characterized by intense riffs and blast beats.
