Slippery Rock defeats California Vulcans 41-26

Slippery Rock, ranked No. 10 in the nation, secured a 41-26 victory over the California Vulcans at Adamson Stadium. Although California took an early 13-0 lead following a touchdown by Amire Spencer and two field goals by Harry Radcliffe, Slippery Rock mounted a significant comeback.

Slippery Rock scored three consecutive touchdowns before halftime to take a 21-13 lead. DaOne Owens led the offensive surge, recording 117 rushing yards on nine carries and 245 passing yards with two touchdowns. Despite a late touchdown by Bobbie Boyd Jr. that brought the Vulcans within two points, Slippery Rock extended their lead in the fourth quarter with scores from JayJay Jordan, Hamilton Gates, and Luke McCoy.
