Sloba Radanović says Budva taxi dispute was harmless, no one was injured

Serbian singer Sloba Radanović addressed a viral video showing a verbal clash with a taxi driver in Budva, Montenegro. He explained that the incident occurred at about 4 a.m. when his jeep stopped with its hazard lights on and the taxi attempted a U‑turn. After a brief exchange, the driver shouted profanity and a female passenger also swore, but Radanović said the situation never escalated and no one was in danger. He chose not to pursue the matter further, noting the driver’s nervousness and expressing no ill will.

Radanović emphasized that the footage was taken out of context, that the confrontation was short, and that there was no police involvement or physical threat. He hopes the episode will be left behind without further tension.
