Sloclap announces Rematch and Blue Lock collaboration

Sloclap has officially announced a collaboration between the football game Rematch and the anime series Blue Lock. The crossover is scheduled to launch on September 24, as revealed during Sony’s State of Play presentation.

The announcement included a teaser featuring popular characters from the manga and anime, such as Yoichi Isagi, Meguru Bachira, Seishiro Nagi, and Rin Itoshi. While specific details regarding new skins, cosmetics, or gameplay mechanics have not yet been disclosed, Sloclap promised more information will follow soon.

Pierre Tarno, the creative director of Rematch, noted that the collaboration was a highly requested feature from the community. He mentioned that the development team are fans of the Blue Lock series and highlighted the thematic connection between the fast-paced competitive nature of Rematch and the individualistic focus of the Blue Lock characters.
