Slovak Comedy 'Kuko, Drobček & Raťafák' Set for Nationwide Release on August 6, 2026

The Slovak feature film *Kuko, Drobček & Raťafák* will open in cinemas across the country on 6 August 2026. Directed by Andrej Kolenčík and Jura Šlauku, the adult‑oriented comedy reunites three former television personalities—Kuko, Drobček and Raťafák Plachta—in their first joint full‑length story. The plot follows the trio as they attempt a comeback amid a changed world, blending live‑action, puppetry, practical effects and a stylised depiction of Bratislava’s night life.

A premiere event is scheduled at the DK Zrkadlový háj in Bratislava, featuring a Q&A with the creators and cast. The soundtrack, composed by David Kollar, mixes electronic, synth‑wave and guitar textures. The film also includes appearances by well‑known Slovak TV figures such as Iveta Malachová, with voice work by Anna Okapcová (Kuko) and Dušan Štauder (Raťafák Plachta).
