The Czech‑Slovak comedy *Bardotky* opened in Slovak cinemas on 20 August, offering a light‑hearted look at friendship, ageing and personal freedom. Directed by Hana Hendrychová and co‑written with Pavla Krečmerová, the film stars Dagmar Havlová Veškrnová, Eva Holubová and model‑turned‑actress Pavlína Pořízková in her first cinematic role.

Pořízková, who married recently, discussed the film at its Bratislava premiere, noting the script’s appeal: “Presvedčil ma scenár, pretože bol výborný.” She also spoke candidly about a personal “1:10” rule on infidelity, acknowledging that it “absolutely doesn’t exist” for her. Reflecting on her life at fifty, she described overcoming a period of unemployment and loneliness, and emphasized that “life doesn’t end at fifty – there are still decades ahead.” The film follows three women—Meda, Iva and Valerie—through a series of gatherings that reveal hidden secrets and renewed energy.
