Slovak Ministry of Defence tenders new hospital in Bratislava

The Slovak Ministry of Defence has launched a public tender for the construction of a new hospital in the Vajnoroch district of Bratislava. The estimated value of the contract is 922 million euros excluding VAT. The procurement process is being conducted through the Central Military Hospital SNP Ružomberok.

The project involves the creation of a comprehensive, integrated complex. The planned facility will include a nine-story main block with extensive underground levels, an energy center, a parking garage, and a water reservoir. The hospital is designed to be a high-capacity medical facility featuring emergency departments, operating rooms, research laboratories, psychiatric wards for children and adults, forensic medicine, and a heliport.

The construction timeline is estimated at 42 months from the handover of the site, consisting of 36 months for construction and six months for completion and final inspection. Bids for the project are to be submitted by October 8.
