Slovak municipalities prepare for upcoming local elections

In several Slovak municipalities, including Sečovce, Kráľovský Chlmec, and Čierna nad Tisou, current mayors are running for re-election in the upcoming municipal elections scheduled for October 24.

In Sečovce, the mayoral race features three candidates: incumbent Dominik Frajkor representing Hlas-SD, alongside independent candidates Martina Dulaiová and Lukáš Harhaj. In Kráľovský Chlmec, Karol Pataky of the Hungarian Alliance is defending his position against independent Bartolomej Gönczy and Peter Šohajda of Hlas-SD. In Čierna nad Tisou, four candidates are competing for the post, including incumbent Viktor Palko for the Hungarian Alliance, Jaroslav Čech for Hlas-SD, Patrik Revalo for SNS, and independent Gejza Tipcsák.
