Slovak musical events scheduled in Brdárka and Bratislava

Slovakia prepares for several musical and cultural events this October. In Brdárka, the Alter Nativa association is hosting a vocal workshop led by Veronika Rabada and Skyva, followed by a chamber concert titled ‘Balady’ on October 10, 2026. The event will take place in a historic Evangelical church, featuring performances by Rabada, Skyva, and Michal Brandys.

In Bratislava, the international chamber music festival Konvergencie begins on October 14. This year’s edition commemorates the 120th anniversary of conductor and composer Ľudovít Rajter. The five-day festival will feature works by Bartók, Kodály, Dohnányi, and Brahms, with performances held at various venues including Klarisky, the Primatial Palace, and the House of the Albrechtovci.
