Slovak nostalgia quiz revisits socialist-era sweets and prices

In late July 2026 two Slovak online quizzes invited readers to recall everyday items from the socialist period. One quiz asked participants to identify legendary candy varieties such as Hašlerky, Anticol, Mentolky and Snehulky, which were once advertised as soothing coughs.

The second quiz challenged memory of historic prices, including the cost of a rožok, a Škoda car and a half‑liter of 10‑degree beer, offering an interactive “evaluate quiz” button for users to see correct answers.

Both pieces are presented as nostalgic entertainment and contain no new policy or economic developments.
