Slovak Prosecutor's Office reverses decision to halt Marian Kocner prosecution

The Slovak General Prosecutor's Office has overturned a decision by a supervisory prosecutor to halt criminal proceedings against Marian Kocner in the Búrka and Víchrica judicial cases.

According to Kocner, the supervisory prosecutor had issued a 190-page resolution to stop the prosecution several months ago. However, that decision was subsequently reversed by the First Deputy General Prosecutor, Jozef Kander. The legal developments were discussed during a hearing related to the murder of investigative journalist Jan Kuciak.
