Slovak sports: Považská Bystrica wins in handball, Michalovce triumphs in hockey

In Slovak handball, MŠK Považská Bystrica maintained their perfect start to the new Handball extraliga season with a 31:28 victory over HK Košice. The win marks their third consecutive victory in the new season.

In ice hockey, HK Dukla Michalovce secured a narrow 3:2 victory against HKM Zvolen. Despite Zvolen pulling their goalkeeper in the final minutes to create offensive pressure, Michalovce held on to the win. Eduard Šimun was a key performer for the home side, scoring two goals.
