Slovak striker Lukáš Prokop loaned from MŠK Žilina to Finland's Inter Turku
MŠK Žilina has agreed to loan 21‑year‑old Slovak forward Lukáš Prokop to Finnish Veikkausliiga club FC Inter Turku until the end of the 2026 calendar year. The deal includes an option for a permanent transfer. Prokop, who has made 37 league appearances and scored two goals for Žilina’s first team, also represented Slovakia at under‑21 level.
Inter Turku’s scouting director Viki Savonen highlighted Prokop’s physical attributes and versatility, noting his speed, work‑rate and ability to create chances. The club expects him to gain regular playing time in Finland’s spring‑autumn season, which runs until November, and to develop further before a decision on a possible permanent move is taken.
Žilina’s sporting director Karol Belaník said the loan provides Prokop with a new environment and more game minutes, which were limited in Žilina’s squad. Both clubs view the arrangement as beneficial for the player’s growth and future contributions.
