Slovak Telekom opens Magenta AI assistant to all users for free

Slovak Telekom has expanded access to its Magenta AI assistant, making the service available for free to anyone who downloads the Telekom application, regardless of whether they are a customer of the operator.

The assistant utilizes technology from Perplexity to provide search capabilities, text generation, translations, and assistance with complex topics. Unlike standard chatbots, it displays sources for its answers, allowing users to verify information. The service also integrates with partners such as Picsart and ElevenLabs to enable graphic creation and podcast production.

In conjunction with this rollout, Telekom is launching initiatives focused on the safe and responsible use of artificial intelligence. This includes an information campaign to highlight both the capabilities and limitations of AI, as well as expanding the 'ENTER School' program, which aims to educate students on AI principles.
