Slovak towns host traditional Michalský fairs

Traditional Michalský fairs are scheduled to take place in Hlohovec and Myjava, Slovakia.

In Hlohovec, the festivities run from September 25 to 27. The program features various musical acts including Gladiator, Hudba z Marsu, and Bystrík, alongside local folklore and dance groups. The event includes a lookout tower accessible to the public and a book launch celebrating sixty years of life in Hlohovec.

In Myjava, the 20th anniversary of the Michalský fair will be held on September 26. The celebration includes the 13th Kopaničiar regional animal exhibition, traditional crafts, and a plum dumpling eating championship. Musical performances include ICONITO and Štefan Štec and Fajta.
