Slovak woman faces long recovery after severe car accident

An 18-year-old woman named Martina is facing a long recovery following a severe car accident on the road between Kráľová and Senec in Slovakia. The collision resulted in critical injuries, including extensive brain damage, bleeding, brain swelling, and fractures to her pelvis and ribs.

Due to the severity of the brain swelling, surgeons had to perform neurosurgical procedures, including the temporary removal of part of her skull to reduce pressure. While she survived the initial crisis, she has lost her memory and her ability to walk. Her family is now seeking support to fund her ongoing rehabilitation and help her regain her independence.
