Slovak women say confidence, humor and respect make men most attractive

Surveys of Slovak women reveal that even when they have partners who are faithful, caring and supportive, many still feel unhappy. Respondents point to internal emptiness, low self‑esteem or unmet emotional needs as reasons why a seemingly perfect relationship may feel unfulfilling.

In a separate poll, women identified the traits they value most in a man: natural self‑confidence, a good sense of humor, the ability to listen, reliability and respectful kindness toward others. They also appreciate a partner who maintains his own interests and social life. Quotes from participants include, “The man who is calm and sure of himself is far more sexy,” and “I’m drawn to a man who truly listens to me.”
