Slovakia political debate season resumes with key leaders

A new season of televised political discussions is commencing in Slovakia, featuring several high-profile leaders. On Saturday, September 5, President Peter Pellegrini will appear on STVR's 'Sobotné dialógy' to discuss domestic political tensions, the state budget, and international issues including the EU and Ukraine.

On Sunday, September 6, Minister of the Interior Matúš Šutaj Eštok will participate in JOJ's 'POLITIKA 24' to address the security situation, the state of the Hlas party, and the 2027 budget. Additionally, TA3's 'V politike' will host SNS leader Andrej Danko and PS leader Michal Šimečka. Their debate is expected to cover Slovakia's involvement in an economic commission with Russia, the government's participation in a commission for Ukraine's compensation, and internal political disputes regarding ministerial changes and the upcoming parliamentary session.
