Slovakia requires special signage for bicycles transported on vehicles

Drivers transporting bicycles in Slovakia must adhere to specific marking regulations to avoid fines. According to Ingrida Pavlovská, spokesperson for the Prešov regional police, if a load—such as bicycles on a rear rack—extends more than 40 cm beyond the upper or side outline of the vehicle, it must be properly marked.

The required marking consists of a rectangular sign featuring red and white reflective stripes. This sign must maintain its shape during transport. Failure to display this marking can result in a fine of up to 50 euros.
