Slovakia's crypto market adapts to MiCA rules via crypto4me
The European Union’s MiCA regulation will be fully in force across the bloc from July 2026, but Slovakia began applying it on 30 December 2025. After a licensing sweep, only six crypto‑service firms remain authorized in the country, down from dozens that previously operated. The National Bank of Slovakia warned that the new rules do not guarantee the safety of customers’ funds.
Slovak platform crypto4me offers a Dollar‑Cost‑Averaging (DCA) service that lets investors set a regular monthly amount, choose cryptocurrencies, and select a payment method without monthly fees. The plan can be paused, modified, or cancelled at any time, and purchases occur automatically at set intervals, helping beginners avoid trying to time market moves and reducing the impact of short‑term price volatility.
