Slovan Bratislava and Mladá Boleslav secure new contracts for rising star and coach

Slovak champions Slovan Bratislava announced a new three‑year deal for 21‑year‑old winger Alexej Maroš, extending his contract until 2029. Maroš, who scored 12 goals for the B‑team and made his senior debut under coach Yaya Toure in a Champions League qualifier in Tbilisi, expressed his gratitude and ambition to keep improving.

Czech club Mladá Boleslav also confirmed a contract extension for head coach Jan Majer after a season that saw the team finish 13th in the league. The club highlighted its commitment to long‑term cooperation with the coaching staff and to developing Czech players, adding assistant Zdeněk Šmejkal to the staff and renewing contracts for other members of the technical team.
