Slovenia expands cycling infrastructure and routes

Slovenian municipalities have recently developed various cycling paths and trails, including bike parks and rental systems, to support recreation and daily commuting.

Notable routes include the 6.2-kilometer Medvode–Pirniče–Vikrče connection, which features a 138-meter bridge over the Sava river and provides access to the Straža thermal spring. Another significant route is the 13.74-kilometer regional connection between Kamnik and Ljubljana, which runs through Mengeš and Trzin, offering a path for both commuters and excursionists.
