Slovenia fuel prices expected to shift on Tuesday
Starting Tuesday, October 27, fuel prices in Slovenia are expected to undergo significant changes. According to calculations by the newspaper Finance, 95-octane gasoline is projected to decrease in price by more than seven cents per liter, potentially reaching approximately 1.63 euros per liter.
In contrast, diesel fuel and heating oil are expected to see slight price increases. Diesel is forecasted to rise by about one cent per liter to approximately 1.935 euros, while heating oil is expected to reach around 1.65 euros per liter. These projections assume that fuel taxes and other regulatory elements remain unchanged.
The divergence between falling gasoline prices and rising crude oil prices—which saw Brent crude rise 6.2 percent to $116.72 per barrel due to Middle East geopolitical tensions—is attributed to the influence of international derivative prices, the average price during the calculation period, and the euro-to-dollar exchange rate.
